A self-hosted server offering is not available yet. For today, use OmegaSafe Cloud or reach out to sales@omega-safe.com to find out if we can work together to accommodate your needs. Neither OmegaSafe Cloud or planned OmegaSafe Self-Hosted handle sensitive data - which you can confirm by inspecting our CLI source code. Files are always encrypted locally on your devices with out-of-band local Alpha key presence. The server is only sporadically contacted for synchronising in-advance claims on key sections.
Both OmegaSafe Cloud or planned OmegaSafe Self-Hosted are API flavours of the Encryption Method — 11. External Claims Storage backend, which is the part of the OmegaSafe encryption system responsible for ensuring replacement-map combinations are never reused and therefore preserving the pattern-free cipher property.
OmegaSafe API does not handle the Alpha key material; it only stores key metadata and encrypted Delta payloads, and those Delta payloads are not usable without the local matching Alpha. For the full design, read Encryption Method, especially Encryption Method — 3. Alpha and Delta Split and Encryption Method — 11. External Claims Storage.
